This subject has probably been discussed thousands of times but I can't seem to find anything about it anywhere.... I have 2003 AD with latest service packs, patches, etcand Exchange 2007 only with all patches except for SP1. When i create a new user from the EMC in Exchange 2007 it creates the user with no problem as well as an account in Active Directory but it will not add the user to the GAL or update the showinaddressbook field unless I type the following command Set-Mailbox -ApplyMandatoryProperties -Identity NewUser Only then will it add the address to the GAL by updating the showinaddressbook. Is this a feature of Exchange 2007? I know Exchange 2007 no longer has RUS (the funny thing is if you run that command above with a -v it looks like it still does....but anyway) I really hope i am doing something wrong here.. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks Andrea, that is where I got the command from....from what I read it doesn't seem like he gives you a fix just a workaround....thanks though
