I`ve recently created a new information store on a new directory on the same server. The problem i`m experiencing is i`m using Exchange 2003 Service Pack 1 with Outlook XP clients, when I use the movemailbox feature onto the new mailstore I can successfully open the mailbox using Outlook Web Access, but when I try and use the Outlook client I`m unable to open any folders at all, just get the unable to open folders message. checked all the permissions and they appear to be the same as the other information stores. thanks in advance for any help

If you go into the control panel mail applet does it checkname succesfully? Maybe try rebuilding the outlook profile.

Even though a move has completed it takes AD a good while to update that info (time varies on the size of your organization). I'd try waiting 30 minutes and then open Outlook.
