New Exchange server added UM not working

Hi,

I am adding the third server to a DAG. I am testing this server and UM is not working. UM was configured previously.

I am missing a Language pack and I saw that the Exchange servers were added as trusted application servers in Lync topologic.

I have added the new server to the topologic, but I do not get an option to choose which ipaddress to use, like in the two old Exchange server. I have checked all setting and everything is the same on the new server as the old servers.

any ideas?

Hello

You have the server in the trusted application servers?

I have webmail.contoso.com so I don't have to mess with the Lync topology.

I did have a bunch of trouble getting UM on Exchange 2013 working on my setup:

Lync Server 2010 and Lync Server 2013 currently co-existing and Exchange Server 2010 and 2013 co-existing.

The Exchange 2013 mailbox servers had a certificate issue. The certificate I was using was created when I had 3 mailbox servers, 2 in one site, and 1 in another.

UM worked fine for anyone on those three servers, but the cert had a SAN with the FQDN of each of those servers.

So, I created a new cert with SAN of all 12 of my mailbox server, and no one had UM.

It turns out that even thought he subject of the cert was webmail.contoso.com, I also had to have a SAN of webmail.contoso.com.

Not sure if this will help.
