New DDG based on Non-standard multi-value AD attibute
We are running Exch 2007 SP1 Rollup 1.7. We have DDG based on LDAP queriesand need to port them over to OPATH and create new lists. The problem is OPATH does not recognize the attributes that we have added to our AD schema. These 2 attributes are multi-value and give employee type and location and can have up to 4 values each. We have looked into using CustomAttributes1-15 but since they are not multi-valued we have chosen not to use them. Here is an example of the LDAP filter brought over from EXCH 2003: (Pima-l and Pima-employeetype are the 2 attributes we need to query on) (&(!cn=SystemMailbox{*})(&(&(objectCategory=user)(|(&(|(Pima-l=****)(Pima-l=**)(Pima-l=**))(Pima-employeetype=**))(|(SAMAccountName=***)(SAMAccountName=***)))(&(!userAccountControl:1.2.840.113556.1.4.803:=2)))))

Hello,Address list configuration based on customized schema extensions isnt possible. If you look over this thread it discusses the simillar probem http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/exchangesvradmin/thread/738947fd-5c28-4c18-99ec-6faad4475785/Yet, I think you still have option to use custom attributes. Though not one shot process you can always use ADModify to modify the attributes in bulk and then use the OPATH filters. The list of attributes those can be used with OPATH filters is here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb738157.aspxYOu can choose either of it and then it should help doing what are trying to do.Milind Naphade | MCTS:M | http://www.msexchangegeek.com
