New Address List in 2010 with 2003 still present?
I'm trying to create a new address list in 2010 when I have 2003 still in my environment. I get this: Error: You can't specify the recipient container because legacy servers are detected. Exchange Management Shell command attempted: new-AddressList -Name 'MyListName' -RecipientContainer 'mydomain.local' -IncludeRecipients 'MailboxUsers' -Container '\' -DisplayName 'MyListName' How can I add this? I eventually want to apply an address book policy to MyListName. Am I even on the right track?

Hi, It's not possible to use the parameter RecipientContainer as long as there are any legacy servers in the ORG (including EX07). What's your goal with using Address Book policy? Martina Miskovic The goal is multi-tenant Exchange with address list segregation.

The goal is multi-tenant Exchange with address list segregation. Aha Oki. You can create new Address Lists and use them in a an ABB even if RecipientContainer will not work for you. It's just a matter of finding a condition/filter that best suites your needs.Martina Miskovic

But 12 hours later, in Outlook 2010, the list only has about 1/3 of the Recipients in the list. I'm not sure how I can correct this?

I'm not sure how I can correct this? Create the Address List in Exchange 2010 and when done, run Update-EmailAddressPolicy "Your Address List"Martina Miskovic
