Need to find emails on Server 2003
Our Server 2003 is having major problems so we have temporarily moved all our data to a computer to act as a server. My problem is when we did that I had to change my email from Microsoft Exchange to a POP email and now all my old emails our gone from my Outlook. I did have it set up to store my emails on the server too. I do not know where on the server to look for my emails. Does anyone know where to find these? I really need some information from some of my old emails. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi, I want to clarify whether your Exchange Server 2003 can work or not? If your Exchange Server still can work, you can configure your Outlook to connect the Exchange Server and download the emails. If your Exchange Server can work but the emails have been deleted from the Exchange Server, you can use ExMerge to recover a single mailbox. If you Exchange Server cannot work. To recovery Exchange database file in a new Exchange Server, the new Exchange Server need to have: 1. Same Organization Name 2. Same Admin Group Name. 3. Same Storage Group Name 4. Same Database Name. Here are some related links, hope it helps: Using ExMerge to recover a Single Mailbox or Mailbox Item http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/ExMerge-Recover-Mailbox.html Recovering an Exchange 2003 SP2 Server http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/exchangesvravailabilityandisasterrecovery/thread/97c20928-b562-4c80-8eb5-01ebe74af9dd If anything is unclear, please feel free to let me know.
