Need to UnDelete all messages purged by recipient policy
A specific recipient policy was mistakenly applied to all mailboxes in our company. I have changed the recipient policy to the correct one. I now need to restore (from delete items) all messages that that were affected by that recipient policy. These users have many subfolders and I don't want to open outlook and use "recover deleted items" on each folder. How can I recover deleted messages from all folders in a given mailbox? Can I constrain it by date deleted?

Besides, I think you can try to restore the mailbox from database backup.Xiu Zhang TechNet Community Support

The honest answer and one you most likely don't want to hear is to restore from backupOliver Moazzezi | Exchange MVP, MCSA:M, MCITP:Exchange 2010, BA (Hons) Anim | http://www.exchange2010.com | http://www.cobweb.com | http://twitter.com/OliverMoazzezi

This doesn't makes sense. The messages are visible in deleted items. I just have to restore them from there. I can use this code as a starting point... but haven't fully explored the object model Add-type -assembly "Microsoft.Office.Interop.Outlook" | out-null $olFolders = "Microsoft.Office.Interop.Outlook.olDefaultFolders" -as [type] $outlook = new-object -comobject outlook.application $namespace = $outlook.GetNameSpace("MAPI")
