Need help migrating multiple multi-role Exchange 2007 servers to multiple multi-role Exchange 2013 servers.

This is the first Exchange migration I have done with multiple Exchange servers (and each server has multiple roles). Can someone help me fill in the blanks? I would like this to be a streamlined as possible, but I am not sure of the best configuration of the URL's to accommodate my environment. Can this be setup so that all users go to a single URL internally and externally regardless of the site their mailbox is located (have OWA, OAB, ActiveSync, and Outlook Anywhere all use the same URL both internally and externally)? I know Exchange does its own proxying, I'm just not sure if it's complex enough to sense what we are doing here.

The Exchange environment is virtually untouched at this point. The only thing that has been done is that I have installed/patched the OS on the machines that will host the new Exchange environment. Any advice direction will be greatly appreciated.

Here are the environment details:

this is a lot -- you better hire someone or services

check this out

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-US/exdeploy2013/Checklist?state=2419-W-AAAAAAAAQAAAAAEAAAAAAAA~

you want to keep the same url you will need to setup split-dns

in Exchange 2013 your single name space will be enough and will enough and for co-existance with 2007 just create legacy.domain.com and redirect to 2007.

read the information on the article i mentioned it is about Exchange Deployment assistance

Hi,

Here are mu answers you can refer to:
1. Configuring your URL:
All URLs on new  Cleveland Exchange 2013 server are configured with cle-ex.contoso.com:
Internal OWA URL: cle-ex.contoso.com/owa
External OWA URL: cle-ex.contoso.com/owa
Internal ActiveSync URL: cle-ex.contoso.com/Microsoft-server-activesync
External ActiveSync URL: cle-ex.contoso.com/Microsoft-server-activesync
Internal OAB URL: cle-ex.contoso.com/oab
External OAB URL: cle-ex.contoso.com/oab
Outlook Anywhere internal host name: cle-ex.contoso.com
Outlook Anywhere internal host name: cle-ex.contoso.com

All URLs on new Chicago Exchange 2013 server are configured as what we do on Cleveland Exchange 2013 server. For example Internal OWA URL: chi-ex.contoso.com/owa; External OWA URL: chi-ex.contoso.com/owa

Additionally, Exchange 2013 doesnt has the HT role. And we can change all host names in URLs to legacy.contoso.com

2. DNS entries:
Legacy.contoso.com: Exchange 2007 server IP address
cle-ex.contoso.com: Cleveland Exchange 2013 server
chi-ex.contoso.com: Chicago Exchange 2013 server
autodiscover.contoso.com: Exchange 2013 server

Thanks,
