Need Batch PST Password Remover Solution
I have researched a lot and didn't found any tool to remove password from protected pst files in batch mode. I have got a collection of 289 PST files, protected with same password. I just need to remove password from all PST files in on go. Is there any solution or tool available to do this.

So you know the password and it's the same on all pst files and you want to remove it from all? AFAIK, the password dialog is not exposed in the object model but you could use a macro utility like AutoIt to automate the process.

All of the password tools I'm aware of are here - http://www.slipstick.com/problems/pst-repair/remove-a-password-from-a-pst-file/#tools

Sorry for being late here. See there are several password recovery or remover apps for Outlook .pst files, but they don't recovery or remove passwords from multiple .pst files at the same time. As you said that you have a collection of 289 .pst files and they are protected with the same password. Can you open those .pst files at the same time? Certainly not. You have to open them one by one. As you said that all the .pst files are protected with same password, it would be easy for you. You just need to recover password of a single .pst file. No third-party password recovery app will remove password from a password-protected .pst file, it will only shown you the current password of the file. After that either you can change the password according to you or you can remove it permanently from the file.

I would like to suggest you to use SysInfoTools PST Password Recovery software to recover password of your .pst file. Once the password will be recovered, you can remove it from the file. It doesn't affect your .pst file or cause any damage. You can also check its free demo version.

Hello Friend,

289 PST file and all of them are encrypted? Sounds bizarre but it seems you are taking over the database of entire organization. Unlocking counted Outlook Data Files (in special case if they are ANSI PST file) is possible, but having a base of 289 PST files and removing password from each of them is not doable. Even, if may have some ANSI PSTs, you need to hands-on with the entire process which is mentioned in the given article and all this could a lot of yours time.

Every other PST file can be UNICODE PST file and there is no free provision to breakdown the password of such PST files. Go and probe for any third party tool on the web that can step down this refrain you from ordeal.

Thanks & Regards
