Navision often lags when used together with Outlook 2013 on Cloud

Hi,

I have a strange issue which I often notice among my users. Almost every day, my users would complain to me slowness/ laggin in Navision when they try to create reports from navision. So when I come over to check I notice that Outlook consume one of the largest ram (approx 60,000). My users are on Thin client, so theoretically this shouldn't happen.

Please advise.

Hi,

Here are something we can try:

1. I've seen this issue before many times, and users are usually able to resolve the problem by disabling hardware graphics acceleration, which has been introduced since Office 2013:

In Outlook 2013, click FILE -> Options -> Advanced -> Display -> Tick "Disable hardware graphics acceleration" -> OK.

2. In case the issue is related to some 3rd-party add-ins, please run Outlook in Safe Mode:

Press Win + R, type "outlook.exe /safe" in the Run dialog, press Enter.

If there is no such issue in Outlook Safe Mode, please disable the suspicious add-ins to verify which one caused the issue.

3. If the users have enabled Outlook logging, disable it to check the result:

File -> Options -> Advanced -> Other -> Clear the box of "Enable troubleshooting logging (requires restarting Outlook) -> OK.
