NIC on Win 7 box and 24port Ghz Switch Don't Like Each other.
I get irratic behavior that ultimately fails completely (no Network recognition or internet) when I connect a Win 7 (64 bit) workstation having an Intel 82567LF-2 Gigabit NIC to a 24 port 1 ghz Switch. The 24 port switch is connected to an AT&T U-verse 18mb modem/ 4 port router. Everything works perfectly for this workstation when I move its network cable directly into the AT&T router.
I have tried new changing network cable, moved cable to different port on switch. I was going to purchase a new nic but thought I check here first for more experienced eyes to review.
