NDR for known Users.
Hi members,First of all sorry for my english...RecentlyI had beenadded two external recipients(like user@gmail.comusers)as mail enabled contacts in Exchange 2007.I am deleted that users also.Now what the problem is when some of Exchange users send the mail to those recipients ,mail is not delivered to those external recipients and NDR is generated to those Exchange users. And one more thing when exchange users type their addresses in mail compose windows it shows recipientsaddress,because of using those address previously by exchange users.But those users not present in Exchange & AD.Plz help me......I attached the NDR below..... Hi Saravanan, I would like to know whether the issue still persists if the user uses OWA to send email to the two external recipients. If the NDR message is not received when sending message by using OWA, I suggest you attempt the following method to troubleshoot the isue 1. Rename Outlook Autocomplete NK2 file How to reset the nickname and the automatic completion caches in Outlook http://support.microsoft.com/kb/287623 2. Check whether the issue still persists if Outlook works in Online Mode. I would like to explain that when Outlook works in Cached Mode, it actually use Offline Address Book instead of accessing the AD. If the issue does not exist if Outlook works in Online Mode, you need to update the OAB files on the server and client. Mike
