NDR The e-mail account does not exist at the organization this message was sent to. Exchange 2003
Hello, We had to restore an Exchange 2003 server from backup. Everything worked swell and mailflow is working for everyone except for one user (The Boss/owner of course) where he could not recieve email on his Outlook client internal or external. I backed up his mail box to a *.pst file, deleted his Exchange mailbox, re-created it, imported from the *.pst. This worked and he can recieve smtp email from external addresses but when users from within the organization try to send him an email they get the NDR posted below. I made sure in house senders deleted the boss's email address from their autocomplete when they composed a new message and that did not work. Other users within the organization can email one another with no problems. Thank you for any help. Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients. Is the new email address identical to the old one? Are the senders using Outlook to send? Have you tried to send from OWA? If he does indeed receive mail from external senders, we can probably rule out a problem with his new mailbox. In other words, if you log in to your Gmail/Hotmail whatever mail account and send him a message, he receives without a problem???Please mark as helpful if you find my contribution useful or as an answer if it does answer your question. That will encourage me - and others - to take time out to help you.
