Hi Edward,
here is a guide for repairing Exchange database files.
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa996436(v=exchg.65).aspx
As mentioned in the article,it also says the amunt of time used to repair is longer than the amount of time used to restore from backup. Are you usinging DAG?Whats Your Exchange Version?
If the above article is not suited for you, then you will need to use 3rd part Tools to convert EDB to pst files.
If you are running newer Version of Exchange,it could be Worth a try to run :
New-MailboxExportRequest -Mailbox alias -FilePath "\\SERVER01\PSTFileShare\alias.pst"
If the above Works, then here is a guide for bulk export pst files:

Hi Edward,
First I would request you to share the exchange server version with service packs.
Below are some questionnaires which will help us understand the issue better.
1) How many user mailboxes are affected?
2) Is the issue for one single user or for the entire database?
3) What caused the database to go corrupt? Power failure or Hard Disk Crashed or Human Error?
4) What type of backup you have to perform a restore? Since Repair and other steps are time consuming and also it has data loss in most cases.
5) What is the mailbox size and Database size?
Once you help us with the above questions. We can help you with the exact direction on how to move further.
