Today when I started my laptop having Windows 8.1 installed. I got a message that there is a pending update and I need to restart my machine. So, I restarted my laptop. And after restarting, when I start my Incredimail it is not starting and opening up and no message even pops up. Now I am in mess and I need to access my Incredimail emails. What should I do.

Incredimail uses a proprietary format to store the data. You'll need a 3rd party conversion tool. Do a search for <convert incredimail to outlook> and pick one that you think serves your purposes. Be sure to do your own "due diligence" prior to making any purchase of whatever product you opt to use.

Karl is right, Incredimail uses proprietary format to store email data. Even, if your Incredimail is not opening up then also you do not need to worry about your email data. As, email messages are still safe in store location of Incredimail.
