Multiple Rooms that combine into one

This may be a crazy question.

I have multiple rooms, lets say room A through D, but the rooms can be combined into one big room. All rooms will have their own calendar, but when they are combined into one we want to make sure that no one can request for one of the smaller rooms while the big room is scheduled. Is there a way to do this in exchange? Like combine rooms together for the bigger room? Thanks.

Hi Bigtecak,

Thank you for your question.

As my concerned, we are sorry that we could not do that which combine multiple rooms into one. If you want to schedule a big meeting, you could add ABCD into schedule.

If there are any questions regarding this issue, please be free to let me know.

Best Regard,

Jim

Hi Bigtecak,

As Jim said what you are asking can't be done. However a Room List would be somewhat closer to what you are looking for.

You can combine multiple rooms in a spl distribution list, that would allow you to find the rooms in a group. The booking policy etc. remains independent. But to can easily club\list them together to quickly check on the availability. The naming can be wisely set to make the users aware that these rooms are part of a big room.
