Multiple Global Address Lists?
I am trying to understand multiple Global Address Lists. I understand that the Default Global Address List is created when Exchange is installed and that it contains all Exchange recipients. I also understand that I can create additional Global Address Lists. Why would I need multiple GALs? If I create an additional GAL, how do I specify which users will use which GAL? I understand that Outlook can be configured to use only one GAL. Where is this configured in Outlook (or other)? For example, if my Default GAL contains users in New York and Chicago (all users), I could create a GAL for New York anda GAL for Chicago. How do I configure New York users to use the New York GAL and Chicago users to use the Chicago GAL?How is that different than regular Address Lists? Thanks for the help,RS
