Multiple Exchange 2007 Organizations in a Single Forest?
Is it possible to deploy multiple Exchange 2007 organizations in a single forest/multiple domain model?I have an environment that is global and am wanting to maintain a single forest topology with domains seperated be geography (as recommended by Microsoft) but have seperate Exchange organizations. Is this possible? If not (or if so) any recommendations on this scenario?thanksTTW

Hi,No, Exchange supports only one Exchange org in a AD forest. You can look at Split Permissions Model if you are considering multiple Exchange org because of Admin boundaries...Planning and Implementing a Split Permissions Modelhttp://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb232100.aspxAmit Tank | MVP - Exchange | MCITP:EMA MCSA:M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com

I agree with Amit. None of the exchnage 200x family products supported multiple organization in single forest. Can you please explain why you are looking for the option to deploy multiple orgs in single forest? If you need anything like that you can think of deploying multiple active directory forests as well and then setup a trust relationship and an ILM setup too.I hope that clears your doubts.M-Milind Naphade
