Multiple Exchange 2007 Mailbox/hub/cas servers - owa now not working
Scenario: I have 1 external CAS server that host OWA and transports all mail. We have multiple sites and when the consultant was here he was then told by Micorsoft every site you have a Mailbox server you must have a CAS and Hub server. So I have 2 sites where the mailbox server does all 3 roles and 1 site that has a internal cas/hub and then a mailbox server. The last site has 2 mailbox servers and the main CAS server.Found that the interal CAS servers certificates were out of date. We went through the processof self sign certificates and updated the Certificates - we checked mobile devices and mail flow alll was good. Then when a user with a mailbox on one of the mailbox/hub/cas servers went to OWA they received The page must be viewed over a secure channel. Any idea of what happen and how to fix it?Fixed as typical Microsoft when you do the self sign update it goes back to defaults - placing ssl on those internal CAS servers. take off SSL in IIS on the Exchange directory.

From the sound of the error message, you're looking for an IIS/ HTTPS problem.

Hi,Please verify if the certificate is under trusted root certificate authentication.Note: You can verify it from certificate snap-in for MMC. 1. Run “MMC” from a command prompt. 2. Click on file on the toolbar and select “Add/Remove snap in…” 3. In the “Standalone” tab, click on ”Add”-“Certificates”-“Computer account”-“Local computer”. 4. Click “Finish” and “Ok”. Regards,Xiu
