Multiple Domains
I currently have Three domains that we are poping into Outlook. However, I would like to move to EX2K7; however, I am concerened about its ability to handle multiple domains. For example, some of our users have multiple email accounts (on separate domains) and under the pop enviroment we are working in now: All the email comes into one email box When the user replys Outlook uses the email address that the email was sent to as the from address (this is Key!!) We once looked at moving to Ex2K3; however, 2003 required that every email (whether a reply or a new email) use the default address. Can someone tell me if they fixed this problem in 2007? It is very important that we keep the domains separate, but really want to use Exchange.

Hi, If you are using mapi connection to Exchange server it will always use the users primary smtp address when sending mails. If you are using POP3 clients it should be possible to select which domain name you send from, using POP3 clients does however remove some of the Exchange features like calendaring. Leif
