Yes it is still valid. However I? would recommend newer versions of both. Both Exchange and Windows have standard support license (which means they are supported 10 years after their release. Best is to call MS Support and ask if below info is accurate: on July 13, 2010, Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2003 R2 will transition from the Mainstream Support phase to the Extended Support phase. Extended Support for Windows Server 2003 and for Windows Server 2003 R2 will be available until July 14, 2015. We provide the following support during the Extended Support phase for Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2003 R2 at a supported service pack level: We will continue to provide security updates and paid support. Customers will continue to have access to all security updates and Self-Help Online Support options. Non-security hotfixes developed in the Extended Support phase are only available to customers who enroll in Extended Hotfix Support (EHS). For exchange have a look: http://support.microsoft.com/lifecycle/search/default.aspx?sort=PN&qid=null&alpha=Exchange+Server+2003&Filter=FilterNOWith kind regards Krystian Zieja http://www.projectnenvision.com Follow me on twitter My Blog
