Greetings,I have moved about 20 users from one of my storage groups to another (e.g. SG_1 to SG_2. I am running 2007 SP2 rollup2 CCR. I was under the impression that moving mailboxes would not free space but I found that it freed about 10 GB from SG1. Am I incorrect in my previous understanding?Thank you in advance!Kevin

The store itself should not have shrunk in size, but the transaction logs that were generated for that store will now be generated in the new storage group. Where was the 10GB freed?

Hi AndyD - thanks for the quick replyThe partition that held the mailboxes previously. So you think that I made up the size just by the uncommitted logs? That make sense.
