Moving one user's mailbox to another user
I am running Exchange version 6.5. I need to do the following: take all mailbox messages from User A on the server and merge them into User B's mailbox then remove User A's mailbox then setup an alias address for User A in User B's account so User B can receive mail for herself and the former User A employee (this I know how to do)Can anyone guide me through the steps?Thank you.

Hi, 1. Export the mailbox using outlook/exmerge to a pst file. If this is done import it using Outlook in User B's mailbox. 2. remove the Exchange properties of User A or delete the user account completely. Regards, Johan blog: www.johanveldhuis.nl

Or, as an alternative, once the email is in a pst from step 1, just add the PST to user B's profile. No need to import, and user A's mail doesn't count against user B's quota.Karl
