Moving Mailboxes - Exchange 2010
I currently have an Exchange 2007 installation and I am attempting to get 2010 going. So far, it has been less than pleasant. The latest problem is in moving mailboxes from the 2007 box to the 2010 box. It fails with "An unknown error has occurred. error code: - 1056749262." There is also an entry in the application log with an event id of 1008. How do I get around this? I have also been trying to find out where on a 2010 box you set the max mailbox size for a database. Where has that setting been hidden? Thanks Bert

I should also have mentioned that the above is while running the move from the 2007 box. If I try to run it from the 2010 box, I get the error "Unexpected error (0x79F8DB6B) while executing command 'Get-MailboxDataBase -IncludePreExchange2010' when I click "Browse" to select the target database. Only my 2007 database shows up in the selection window..... Bert

Thanks, Tim. I did finally get it to work by applying SP1. Bert
