I just built our Exchange 2007 enviornment and I'd like to move the oab out of the public folders. I am running Ex2007 standard and i need 5 mailbox databases and the public folder db is taking up the fifth. Where can I move the oab sto? I have 2 servers, one is the CAS and the other is the Hub/mailbox. I've read that I can move the the oab to to another server, but doesn't need to live on the mailbox server? Confused. The OAB will have to be on the CAS server, and before you even think of it, are all your clients on Outlook 2007 ?

Mixed mode 2003/2007................So does that mean I need to keep the OAB in the PF database for the 2003 users?

Absolutely. Only Outlook 2007 can retrieve it from a URL.
