Dennis, Presuming you're asking about moving stores in Exchange 2003, you have two choices: Create a new store in a new location and move mailboxes to it. You can move mailboxes from one SG to another and that way DB is moved ,

i'll tell you what i'm trying to achieve and maybe you can provide an answer. I have a public folder.edb that is stored in a Storage Group with Mailbox EDB's ... I want to move it into it's own storage group for backup reasons. Make sense? Any ideas?

Or maybe you want to move your Default public folder Database to it's original storage group ( first) ?

You can't. You can't move a database between storage groups. You can move it to another disk on the same server. >Make sense? Any ideas? Replicate the public folders to another server and then remove the PF database from this server. Or move the mailboxes to another stroage group and then delete the empty databases in the SG.
