Is there any way to connect an Exchange 2010 MMC that has a higher version number (RU #2) to a lesser version number of what is on the production server. The error I am getting is the following "Initialization Failed". If not, how does one remove a rollup update with the source media available? Thanks in advanced.

So this is a known issue. How would one remove the rollup without the source file?

I had the same issue sabo_e once. I just completely removed Exchange management tools (since it was the only thing installed) and reinstalled it to the proper Service Pack/Rollup level so they matched the rest of the Exchange servers. Use to not be a problem in Exchange 2007, now it is apparantly.

I was able to uninstall the rollup from my client, all is good now. Thanks for all the feedback on this issue.
