Minimum Internet Connection Speed
Hi I was wondering what the minimum internet speed for a client to remotely connect to an exchange server is?e.g. 128KBs 56KBs. I do understand there are a lot of things that will factor into it but I was wondering if there is a general rule of what it should be.the problem is one of the staff are when ever he uses a slow internet connection E.g. GPRS card, wireless at the airport or shared internet connection at home.Cheers

Are they using cached mode? I don't have any info on required speeds for Outlook to Exchange connectivity but the PING time should average 50ms or less for good online connectivity.

Take a look at the numbers quoted in this blog from a Microsoft white paper written for Exchange 2003: http://teoheras.blogspot.com/2006/01/exchange-2003-bandwidth-requirements.html
