Migration Cyrus IMAP to Exchange 2003; Single-Instance Storage
I have searched in the forum but had no luck finding an answer.I just migrated 30000 mailboxes from Cyrus mail to Exchange 2003 and it is looking like the single instance store from Cyrus didn't move over to my Exchange databases. My questions is there anyway that in Exchange you can make pointers for all the mail that I just migrated so that it uses SIS? Or does it somehow automatically start noticing the common messages and do it itself?Any help would be much appreciated.Ryan

I'm not familiar with Cyrus, but exchange probably won't ever pick up the SIS. Exchange moves from 2003 to 2007, for instance, lose the SIS.I would bet good money that you are SOL.

^^^That is what I figured; I was just wondering if anyone had ran into anything as I am still green with exchange. I will be moving to 2007 in a few months so the fact that moving from 2003 to 2007 causes it to lose it's SIS is something to keep in mind.
