Migrating from server 2000 to Server 2003
Im not sure if i messed things up or not... but i have some questions The company i work for wants me to change from server 2000 to server 2003 The server 2003 is already a DC with AD and DNS. Just has a different domain name i kind of messed up and without thinking what i was doing raised the functional level of the 2003 server to server 2003 before i added on the 2000 server. Pretty much the only thing i have done with the new server was added all the users and computers to it. And i was able to join a computer to the domain. How would i transfer all the FSMO roles: Domain naming Master, Schema Master, RID Master, PDC Emulator and Infrastructure Master? Or am i thinking too hard? I am kind of new at this and any help would be nice. thanks
