Migrating from Linux to Exchange Server 2010 - Question
Hi, I will migrate the email environment from Linux to Exchange 2010. Today, the users use POP3 and the emails are in their workstations. The environment has a main office where the Linux email server is and 5 branch offices that get emails from Linux by POP3 method. I intend to migrate first users from main office to Exchange 2010 and I will do that, If anyone has another idea please tell me: - in every mailbox in Linux email server I will set a forwarder to Exchange 2010 IP - I wil create Contact for each user in Exchange 2010 - In Exchange 2010, I will create an Internal Send Connector pointing to Linux server with the domain scope @company.com that means if any email that is not in Exchange 2010 it will be forwarder to Linux - In Exchange 2010, I will create a Internet Send Connector poiting to DNS with the * scope - when I create a mailbox in Exchange 2010 I erase its respective contact in Exchange What do you think? Thanks for advance.

Sounds okay. Try it with some test accounts to be sure everything works. -- Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems." .
