Hi,

What type of email account is your boss using? POP3, IMAP or Exchange?

If your boss was using Outlook, we need to complete the following steps to migrate Outlook data to the new computer:

Step 1: Copy the files from the old computer

Step 2: Copy the files to the new computer

Step 3: Add the information from your old computer to Outlook 2010 on the new computer

Step 4: Moving other Outlook files

For detailed steps, you can refer to this article:

https://support.office.com/en-in/article/Move-Outlook-information-to-another-computer-that-has-Outlook-2010-installed-0309027b-4e9e-4566-b7f9-40f064fd903e

If your boss was using Outlook Express before, first, we need to locate and backup the Store Folder of Outlook Express. The path should be something like this if your boss was using the default folder path:

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{FA572F59-2087-498C-A7A9-F546571D6ECF}\Microsoft\Outlook Express

Then, you can have a look at the following KB article and follow the instructions listed to migrate to Outlook:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/287073?wa=wsignin1.0

Since Outlook Express is not supported in this forum, if you need further assistance regarding Outlook Express, you can post a new question in the following forum:

Thank you for your understanding and support.

as Steve suggested, you need to know the outlook configuration.

Do you use Exchange Server, or third party vendor email hosting?

Or if you have other colleagues that shared same email hosting, check their outlook configuration.

But your boss needs to know his or her email password.

Once everything is setup, check for PST files on the old hard disk and import it to Outlook 2013.

Good luck!!!

Enter the email address and password on Outlook, and let outlook autoconfogure that. Also you can use:

Outlook Express is one of the most popular mail clients at the moment. Its popularity is attributed to the fact that it is included in the distribution package of all Windows operating systems starting from version 95 OSR2. It is absent from Windows Vista and later in Windows 7 where another mail client is used - Microsoft Mail. So, users quite often encounter the problem of backing up information from Outlook Express. You can solve it with Outlook Express Backup Toolbox.
