Hi,

We have a customer who has customized OW(below) and need to be migrated when we migrate their exchange 2007 to exchange 2013 Exchange 2013. Is it possible? If yes what we can do and how?

Hi,

Based on my knowledge, there is no such official documents to achieve your goals.

I suggest we can refer to the below blog to complete the migration:

http://blogs.technet.com/b/meamcs/archive/2013/07/25/part-1-step-by-step-exchange-2007-to-2013-migration.aspx

Then we can have a look at the following link to reconfigure OWA:

https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/bb891803(v=exchg.140).aspx

Regards,

Hi Ahmad K. Jayyusi,

Just copy the images and re-configure the settings on the Exchange 2013 side. There is no such options as to migrate custom OWA settings.

If you have noticed, every Service Pack or CU has potential to overwrite your custom settings, hence its advised to backup your configs before the update.

Its similar to that I would say, but would have options here and there.

Microsoft support policy for the customization of Outlook Web Access for Exchange:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/327178#/en-us/kb/327178

If you install an Exchange service pack, rollup, or hotfix that updates OWA files, any customized files may be overwritten. If you do not want to lose the customizations that you created, create a backup of the customized files, and then restore the files after you install the service pack, rollup, or hotfix. You should review any Exchange release notes before you install service packs, hotfixes, and hotfix rollups to find instructions about how to handle overwrites to customizations.
