Unable to install Microsoft office 2013. getting error message "Microsoft office professional plus 2013 encountered an error during setup"

While installing Microsoft Office Pro Plus 2013, errors may crop up due to miscellaneous reasons. This error message which may occur due to insufficient minimum system requirements, presence of the previous Office edition, outdated applications and device driver software, corrupt registry, and antivirus software among other reasons.

First please try to rename the Microsoft Help folder and then install Office, please try these steps:

1. Click Windows key + R, Type %Programdata% and Click OK

2. Rename the 'Microsoft Help' folder as 'Microsoft Help. OLD'

Now try to install Office again.

If your issue still exists, Try to use Fix it tool to remove Office completely.
