Microsoft Word non-commercial use
I have Office Home and Student 2007.  Just recently I have been having difficulty returning to my desktop screen after having used Office.  I am getting a blue screen with the "Microsoft Word non-commercial use" header which I cannot close.  The "W" icon is on my taskbar and when I try to close that, the screen returns to my desktop screen.  However, if I click on the icon on the taskbar again, the blue screen returns.  I cannot delete the "W" icon from my taskbar.  What can I do to solve this problem?

Hi kvjaz,

With your issue, the "non-commercial use" text is based on the Microsoft Software License Terms for Office Home and Student 2013 2010 or 2007 products.

In the Microsoft Software License Terms, the "non-commercial use" text identifies the use of the product. You may install one licensed copy of the software on three devices in your household. The software is not licensed for any commercial business activities, nonprofit business activities, or revenue-generating business activities.

To find the Microsoft Software License Terms, follow these   steps, as appropriate for your situation.

Office Home and Student Office 2007

  1. Start Excel, Word 2007, PowerPoint, or Access.
  2. Click the Microsoft Office Button, and then click Program_Name Options.
  3. On the Resource tab, click About.
  4. Click View the Microsoft Software License Terms.
