Microsoft Word 2013 - Copying hyperlink

Hi,

I have a very large word document and I want to create a hyperlink on every page which returns to the Index bookmark that I created on the first page of the doc. I had created a bookmark (called Index) and a hyperlink text (called [Back to Index]) linked to that bookmark on the second page of the doc. How can I copy this hyperlink quickly to all pages, at the same location?

I know headers and footers will add certain text to every page but my need is to be able to click on the text and be sent over to the Index page. Let me know.

Thank you.

Is there a reason for not simply adding the forward & back buttons to Word's QAT? That would obviate the need for adding a hyperlink to each page and would make the forward & back facility available to all documents.

In any event, because Word uses the active printer driver to determine the page layout, there is no guarantee a hyperlink you put at the top or bottom of the pages with your current setup would be on the same pages when the document is opened on a PC/Mac with a different active printer (or even a different driver for the same printer).

That option is same as going one page forward/backward at a time. I wanted something more dynamic option. My need is for only PCs and not for Mac.

That is not how the forward & back buttons work at all - they are hyperlink forward & back buttons, not page up/down buttons.
