Microsoft Office IME 2010: Silent Switch for Un-Installation

Hi All,

I'm trying to un-install InputMethodEditor x64 zh-tw.exe via a script with the command C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\IME14\SHARED\imesetup.exe /uninstall /CHT. It's generating two dialog. I wish to get rid of those during un-installation.

It will be of great help if someone can provide the silent switch for the un-installation process.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Souvik,

Based on your description, I suggest you try to use /quiet command-line option to run an installation without displaying a user interface. No prompts, messages, or dialog boxes are displayed to the user. The user cannot cancel the installation.

Maybe this suggestion can help you, to get more information, please refer to this article:

And you can also use a tool to help you uninstall the IME.

Hope it's helpful.
