My school laptop needed to be rebooted and now it says microsoft needs to be reactivated. I try using the WIFI option and it says the product key is invalid. I then try the phone method and it says the installation ID is not recognized as a valid product. What can I do to fix this?

What is the message that Office tells you in detail? I want to know it so that I can tell what may have happened.

You can try to go to Control Panel -> Programs and Features, find Office and try to repair the installation of it. If after the repair the problem persists, we may suspect it is related to the product key status. Please contact the customer service number in this link below:
