Microsoft Exchange System Attendant is come down
Every morning we have this issue where the dialog box for email password keeps poping up repeatedly for all users Checking the services shows that Microsoft Exchange System Attendant is down and then I have to start it manually

What is the Exchange version you are using ? Are you finding any event log related with SA in application Log. For Exchange 2003: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/821907 For Exchnage 2007 : http://exchangemaster.wordpress.com/2009/12/11/exchange-system-attendant-or-exchange-ad-topology-service-will-not-start/ When these services will not start its usually for 1 of 2 reasons Cant get to Active Directory Not allowed to access Active Directory Please check whther there is any issue with DC and GC same time when service got failed. Run DCdiag and Netdiag against GC/DC and check status. Anil

Hi Anil. i checked the both domain controller and i run netdaig & dcdiag, both didn't show any issue in DCs. i restart both DCs & the exchange , & till now the problem not appear. i will update you if any it happened again. thanks Bala
