Open Exchange System Manager on your PC (if you have Exchange Management Tools installed) or on Exchange Server and go to the below path where you can see the version and build number of all your exchange servers in your environment. Based on build number you can find the Exchange version. ESM -> Organization Name -> Administrative Group -> (Your AdminGroup Name) -> Server -> in Right pane you can see list of all servers, edition, version, build number etc.. Build numbers and release dates for Exchange Server

Dear customer: Do you want to know the Exchange server version? If so, you can try the following suggestion: For Exchange server 2003, open ESM, navigate to First Administrative Group-Server, and check the right pane and you can see the actual version under server version column. For Exchange server 2007, open EMC, click server configuration, check the version. For more information about Build numbers and release dates for Exchange Server, please refer to the following article: Build numbers and release dates for Exchange Server http://support.microsoft.com/kb/158530 Rock Wang - MSFT
