Microsoft Excel Cannot Paste The Data

Hello,

just recently I been receiving receiving error message "Microsoft Excel Cannot Paste The Data" when copying and pasting cells form one workbook to another, after that it's no longer possible to copy and paste between workbooks. It works fine between Excel and Word, but not within Excel. After the error I must save my work, turn off all Excel workbooks and begin again.

I have been doing this copying with exactly same workbooks and in exactly the same way for a few moths now, but suddenly can no longer do it. Nothing was changed in the workbooks.

The text I'm copying is just a string of text and there are no formatting and no formulas, no merged cells, no special or foreign characters, just raw text, in one cell. Both workbooks opened in the same window. In other words, just ordinary copying between workbooks.

Do you have any idea on what can be causing it? Maybe some update bug?

Best regards,

John
