Hi,I would like to check whether is problem is only occurred to AAA tool or all MSI installation package? To narrow down this problem, I suggest you try to install another MSI package, and tell me whether it succeed or failed. If it is MSI Installer issue, please first updateMSInstaller to latest version.http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;927891If not, please check whether theDistributed Transaction Coordinator service and COM+ System Application service are running. Then install AAA again. If the issue persists, I suggest we record the process for AAA installation. 1) Download Process Monitor tool from http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/utilities/processmonitor.mspx2) Click Filter--> Filter, select process name is msiexec.exe, then click add.3) Make sure that capture is running, you might click file-->capture events, make sure that the check reside.4) Reproduce the problem, and save a log file for process monitor and then send a copy to me. ThanksAllen

I have exactly the same problem. Server 2003, Exchange 2003, installing Auto Accept Agent v6.5.7618.0. COM+ and Distribued Transaction Co-ordinator are running, I restarted them both, still get the same error message: Product: Auto Accept Agent -- Error 1722. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Action CA_AutoAcceptInstaller.install, location: E:\Exchsrvr\Agents\AutoAccept\Bin\AutoAcceptInstaller.exe, command: INSTALL 5 For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp. I ran Process Monitor, but the output doesn't help.... what do I do with it?!? Richard.
