Name : Remove messages older then 7 daysLength of retiontion : 7retention period starts - When item is moved to folder:Action to take at the end of the retention period : Delete and Allow RecoveryIn Managed Folder Mailbox Policies I created a policy Name : Default Managed Folder PolicyManaged folders that are associated with this policy : Deleted ItemsOn my mailbox, Managed folder mailbox policy is enabled and set to 'Default Managed Folder Policy'In Outlook I see that the oldest message in the Deleted Items folder is dated August 1, 2008.I then run >Start-ManagedFolderAssistant -Identity 'mymailserver'In the Application Event Log I see : "Service MSExchangeMailboxAssistants. Managed Folder Mailbox Assistant for database Storage Group 170A/Mailbox Database 170A (2be89be6-bd35-4633-b41e-6d7d1e3e27c5) is processing an on-demand request. There are 2 mailboxes to process."Then there is another entry for : "Service MSExchangeMailboxAssistants. Managed Folder Mailbox Assistant for database Storage Group 170A/Mailbox Database 170A (2be89be6-bd35-4633-b41e-6d7d1e3e27c5) has finished an on-demand request. 2 out of 2 mailboxes were successfully processed. 0 mailboxes were skipped due to errors."I check the Deleted Items folder in Outlook but the oldest message is still August 1, 2008.Why isn't it this working? Hi Chad, Iam a log analyst and I am currently handling MS exchange 2007 log analysis. The ptroblem is that right now I dnt have exchange setup installed wid me. I have to collect logs from various sources. I have been able to get hold of most of the different log types, but stil no luck wid MRM logs. Can you pls. provide me wid some sample MRM logs covering most of the events? It would be of gr8 help to me. Thanks, Yuvika
