Messages set for future delivery do not send
Hello all, We have recently added an OCS 2007 server to our environment, and as such have also being installing the Live Meeting Add-In pack to our Outlook 2007 clients. Since then, we've ran into a strange problem with our Outlook clients whoattempt to send "delayed" messages (IE, send the message at a future time). I can replicate the same problem on my computer. Enable Live Meeting Transport add-in Send an email with a delayed delivery for a future time, closing Outlook before that time is reached Outlook will warn me that closing Outlook will prevent the messages from being delivered. Click OK to close. The message is not delivered, despite having reached the delivery time, until Outlook client is opened again. Remove Live Meeting Transport add-in, the problem does not occur. I havent found anything on the net or through my own tinkering in the settings that corrects the issue. Anyone have ideas? Nick Cozby

delayed delivery will not send a message unless the outlook client is open

I don't think that is necessarily true. It works fine with my client closed as long as I have the LiveMeeting Transport removed from my mail profile. These are Outlook 2007 clients connected to an Exchange 2007 organization.Nick Cozby

check out this kbhttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/918824 Thanks, Jim. However, our clients are in Online mode, not Cached mode. Like I said, it works fine on my machine right now with Outlook closed. Just not if the LiveMeeting Transport is enabled in Outlook. It's almost like that plugin forces some sort of cached mode. Nick Cozby

Hi, James. Was a solution or workaround ever found for this? We're having the same problem and about to push the add-in out to 7,500 PC's. I have found all kinds of references on various posts to the problem, but no solutions. Cheers - B

we discovered that basically any other plug-in that has calendaring functionality built into it was also broken by this plug-in i don't remember the names of the other apps, but we came across at least two others (one was an online calendar sharing tool) that stopped functioning with this add-in installed seems like there is a serious bug in the livemeeting plug-in for outlook
