Hi Sivakumar,Can you give more detail about your Exchange environment?Number of Exchange servers, roles on those servers, stand alone mailbox server or CCR/SCC clustered server etc...Are you seeing this on Hub Transport server? Can you run below commands and paste the result here?Get-Queue SubmissionGet-Message -Filter: {Queue -eq 'Submission' -and Status -eq 'Active'} | ftDo you have any anti-virus scanning running on transport server? Check if you have any third-part transport agent enabled with below command..Get-TransportAgentDo you get any error in event log?Amit Tank | MVP - Exchange | MCITP:EMA MCSA:M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com

We have one server with Hub Transport/Client Access/Mailbox roles & another with Hub Transport/Client Access roles and three servers with mailbox roles. All the servers are setup in the cluster mode. When I checked the Messages Queued for Submission using the perfmon tool in mailbox server, it shows me 222 mails. In the same time, if I check the Submission queue length in Hub servers, it shows me '0' Getting error message while running the command "Get-Queue Submission" in Mailbox server [PS] C:\Documents and Settings\D000480>Get-Queue Submission Get-Queue : Microsoft Exchange can't connect to the Queue Viewer server on computer "DSVPWM15". Hi Siva,That's true, Get-Queue and Get-Message work only on Transport servers. If you are facing this problem on CCR Mailbox server and seeing queues in PerfMon counter "MSExchangeIS Mailbox\Messsages Queued for Submission" then this is know issue and the current workaround is to restart Information Store service (this will effect the mailbox access to users so do this during off-hours or schedule outage).Similar thread...http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/exchangesvrmonitoring/thread/c9b485a5-ef0e-4b9a-851e-28c4a4c0606a/Amit Tank | MVP - Exchange | MCITP:EMA MCSA:M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com

Hi Siva,This looks something different.~ Start looking with Exchange Best Practice Analyzer and see if you get any errors related to this.~ Are you running any file level anti-virus on Exchange server? If so, make sure that proper executions are set. This may occur because of that also...File-Level Antivirus Scanning on Exchange 2007http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb332342.aspxAmit Tank | MVP - Exchange | MCITP:EMA MCSA:M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com

Thanks for your response Amit. I have already did the same. But nothing realted to this server freeze. Below is the Best Practice Analyzer result.ClusteredMailboxServer' is partially configured on server DSVPWM14.deluxe.com. Either setup is configuring it right now or setup failed while configuring it. Please rerun setup if it isn't currently running. Hi Siva,How about antivirus execlusion? You can also disable antivirus or any third party security or scanning software on the server temporary to see if it is being created by it.I would also suggest you to create a new thread for this problem to get more responses and mention your all observation in it.Amit Tank | MVP - Exchange | MCITP:EMA MCSA:M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com

Not frequently. I can able to agree, your antivirus exclusion - if it happning frequently. Let me put this issue on hold for now. In future, if it happen again then I can try that your suggestion. Have a good day.!SivaFunnyghost

One of the work around to resolve this issue is to failover and failback if this is a clustered node. I havent seen this issue getting fixed in the Rollup update 9 either.http://support.microsoft.com/kb/970162/Pavan.Pavan
