Message tracking log files for old recipient email address on Exchanger Server 2003
Hi,
I hope I'm in a right place. I'm a novice admin and need bit of a help on message tracking. One of my clients using Win Server 2003 SBS (SP2). My client has
couple of old recipient email addresses and wants to get statistics on how frequently the old email domains are being used to receive emails. i.e, for example old recipient email addresses are like @abc.com and @def.com and current one would be @xyz.com. I
need to find how often @abc.com and @def.com are receiving emails?
Have checked reg keys on server at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\<Component Name>\Diagnostics - Default value is not set
Logging was already enabled; removing the log files older than 99 days was set. Have checked the log file directory (c:\Program Files\Exchsrvr), there are heaps
of log files. Is there any tool or any way I can filer those log files so that I can find how often old recipient email addresses are receiving emails?
Can any one please help with my query?
Thanks
Pav

Check message tracking logs log files and you can use somehting like log parser to anaylyse the logs -

Or a 3rd party tool such as messagestats (Quest)
