I collect inbound/outbound stats daily from the message tracking logs. Are you looking for total email activitiy (all messages sent and received, internally and externally) or just internet email sent/received? On sent emails, how do you want to count emails to multiple recipients (does an email sent to 10 recpients count as one outbound email, or 10)?[string](0..33|%{[char][int](46+("686552495351636652556262185355647068516270555358646562655775 0645570").substring(($_*2),2))})-replace " "

Thanks for the quick response, i would say all messages sent and received internally and externally. On sent emails 1 email sent to 10 people should be one sent, but 10 received if internal.

From the message tracking logs, you can get the number of messages received by counting the Deliver events. You can get the number of messages sent by counting the Receive events where the event source is "StoreDriver".[string](0..33|%{[char][int](46+("686552495351636652556262185355647068516270555358646562655775 0645570").substring(($_*2),2))})-replace " "
