The usual cause is AV or antispam software, or a firewall doing SMTP scanning that breaks the message so that it cannot be read by Outlook correctly. Simon.Simon Butler, Exchange MVP Blog | Exchange Resources

Hi, For this issue, I would like to clarify the following information before we go further: 1. What’s the version of your Exchange Server? 2. Which mail client is used to send and receive email, Office Outlook or Outlook express? 3. Does this issue also occur when you use OWA? 4. As this also may be caused by Antivirus program or firewall. You can turn off these and do a test again. Please help me to collect the information at your convenience. With this information, we can help you more efficiently. Thanks, Evan Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
