I have a que that is comcast.net SMTP connection sitting at retry with 73 messages. I am very new to exchange and don't know how to trouble shoot this issue. Error is An SMTP protocol error occurred. Thanks

No PTR record for the IP address used by your server. 2. The IP address you're using is not statically assigned. 3. The name your server sends in the HELO\EHLO command can't be found in any publically accessible DNS. 4. The name your server sends in the HELO\EHLO command, when resolved in DNS, doesn't return an IP address that matches the one your server used to send the message. 5. You don't publish a SPF record for your domain in DNS. 6. Your IP address is in a DNSBL. None of those problems are "Exchange" problems.
