Message Delivered Twice
An email was sent by a remote user to someone here locally once, but in Exchange Message Tracking, I see that it was processed and sent twice. Once at 6:09, then again at 7:45. The local user did receive it twice. Is there a reason this would have happened? I've never seen this before. Thanks, Scott

You would have to look at the headers to see whether the duplication occurred outside Exchange or not. While not common, it isn't unheard of, particularly if there was an attachment involved. If the remote server didn't get the complete command correctly, it may not think the message was delivered correctly and will try again. OK. Thanks. I'll check the headers. The weird thing is that in message tracking there's only 1 email listed. When I open it up, I see it sent twice. Very bizarre.
